What Does Every BloxNote Setting Do?
The settings menu documented entry by entry from recorded footage: role toggles, the ID name system, volume sliders and the code box that lives inside it.
One menu, documented from footage
BloxNote's settings menu does more than set volumes, and almost nobody writes about it. We went through it frame by frame in the one video we have that opens it, recorded on 5 September 2026 against the v0.1 build, and this page lists what the menu contained, top to bottom, with what each entry appears to do. Where we are guessing, the page says so.
Two things make this menu unusually important for this particular game. First, the code redemption box lives inside it - the bottom of the settings panel has a Code field and a REDEEM button. Second, the menu includes role and identity toggles that connect directly to the game's paid passes, which is otherwise undocumented.
The entries, top to bottom
Disable Special Roles - a toggle. The name implies a lobby can play without whatever the game classifies as special roles beyond the base four. What qualifies as special, and whether the toggle belongs to everyone or only to a private server's host, is not stated anywhere we have read.
Run Toggle - a toggle. Movement in recorded rounds includes a faster run, and this switch appears to change whether running is a toggle or held. That reading is ours, not the developer's; the label alone is the evidence.
Male ID Name - a toggle, and the most interesting one. The game sells a Custom ID Name pass (99 Robux on our 13 September snapshot), and this setting shows the ID system is gendered: there is a male-specific name toggle in the menu. Whether a female equivalent exists, and what the toggle actually changes in a match, is undocumented - it is on the open questions list.
Music Volume and Sfx Volume - sliders, both showing 50% in the footage we examined. The only two audio controls visible; there may be more screens in the menu that the video never opens.
Code - a text field with a REDEEM button at the bottom of the panel. This is where the game's codes are entered. A successful redemption pops the game's own confirmation toast; the one we have on camera reads the reward out loud (500 apples for RELEASE).
Settings are reachable mid-round
The frame sequence we read shows the menu opened while a round was already in progress - the Game in Progress banner is visible above the panel. Practically, that means adjusting volume or checking the code box does not require leaving a match, which matters for codes: most Roblox games expect you to redeem from the lobby, and this one does not appear to force that.
What we have not checked
All of it comes from one video of one build: the game has updated nearly every day since, and any of these entries could have moved. We have not seen the menu's other screens (if any), we do not know who can flip Disable Special Roles, whether a female ID name toggle exists, or whether the Run Toggle changes keyboard behavior. Anything the menu adds after 5 September 2026 is not on this page yet - our updates page tracks the dates we know about.

Frequently asked
Where is the code box in BloxNote?
Inside the settings menu. Recorded footage from 5 September 2026 shows the settings panel with a Code field and a REDEEM button at the bottom, below the volume sliders. Our redeem page has the step-by-step.
What does the Male ID Name toggle do?
The settings menu carries a 'Male ID Name' toggle, which shows the game's ID name system is real and gendered. Whether it gates the Custom ID Name pass (99 Robux) behind settings or works independently is not documented anywhere we have read.
Can you turn special roles off in BloxNote?
The settings menu has a 'Disable Special Roles' toggle, so at least some role configuration exists outside the match itself. Who can flip it (a lobby host only, or anyone) and what exactly counts as a special role is undocumented.
