What Is Still Unconfirmed in BloxNote: Open Questions

Every gap in our BloxNote coverage, listed on purpose: task lists, role split, follower rules, timers and the systems behind two paid passes.

Mechanics nobody we have read has documented

The full task list for Investigators - footage proves tasks exist and fill a win-condition bar, but no source enumerates them. The exact role split at 13 players per lobby. Whether the Kira Follower can write in the Death Note or only support. Tie votes and the round timer. Whether killers can fake task animations.

Each of these has a page it belongs on - the task list in our Investigator guide, the seat math in our server-size guide - and each moves there with a date the day we can verify it against the game or a developer statement.

Systems we can only see the edges of

Two paid passes name systems without explaining them: Custom ID Name (99 Robux) implies players have assigned IDs that can be personalized, and Custom Shinigami (199 Robux) implies a shinigami visual layer we have not seen described anywhere. A review notes cosmetics come from spins, which matches the Skip Spins pass (99 Robux). What the ID system does mechanically - whether killers learn IDs, how names are shown - is exactly the part a 30-hour player says decides Kira's strength, and it is undocumented.

Pass prices are a snapshot: 6 passes, read from Roblox's game-passes API on 13 September 2026. Prices change; the list may not be complete.

Provenance questions about the game itself

BloxNote's relationship to the Death Note license is the biggest open question that is not about mechanics. Two independent sources call it a Roblox take on Death Note: Killer Within, the developer's group is named fearless horror games and carries no verified badge, and the game is nine days old as of this page. What that means for the game's long-term availability is not ours to predict - but it is why our guides concentrate on what the game is and how it is played, not on a content roadmap.

Frequently asked

Why does this page list what you do not know?

Because a wiki that only states answers quietly drops the questions it failed to check. Every entry here moves into a proper guide the day we can verify it, and the list itself is the honesty policy the rest of this site runs on.

Is BloxNote the same as Death Note: Killer Within?

It is a Roblox game inspired by it. Two independent sources - a 30-hour player's review and a separate commenter - describe BloxNote as the Roblox version of Bandai Namco's Death Note: Killer Within, and the developer's own art leans into the same license's look. It is not the official licensed game.

Does BloxNote have codes?

One unverified claim: a codes channel's description posted 5 September 2026 lists RELEASE. We have not redeemed it and have not found the game's code entry field. Our codes page explains exactly what we checked.
