How to Complete All Tasks as an Investigator in BloxNote
The task bar is the Investigator team's second win condition - finish it and the round ends in the town's favor. What we know and do not know about the tasks.
Tasks are a win condition, not busywork
Two sources agree on this and they are independent. The developer's description: Investigators win by completing all tasks. A player's full-round recording goes further and says the round ends automatically once the task bar fills - with the player's own hedge of 'I'm pretty sure' attached. Taken together: the task bar is a real clock on the round, and killers have a reason to harass anyone doing tasks.
The same recording contains the round's most instructive failure: players wandering, following people, chatting - and nobody pushing the bar. If the town side loses a round it could have won, the task bar is usually why.
Doing tasks safely
The kill is fast. The footage we cite shows a name written in about a second, close enough to a cluster that the victim never makes it back - the recording's own narrator keeps repeating the rule: stay away from everybody, scope people out, never let somebody get close while you work. That is one player's survival advice, but it is the same advice the mechanics imply.
The practical habits that survive even from one recorded round: prefer task spots with sightlines, keep a partner in view rather than a crowd around you, and treat anyone who stands and watches you work as a suspect, not company. What we cannot yet give you is the per-task breakdown - which interactables exist, where they sit on the map, and how long each takes. Nobody we have read enumerates them, and we will not invent a list. When we can document them, they go into this guide with the date we checked.
Tasks versus voting
The description offers the town two win routes, and good rounds use both: push the bar between meetings, and use the meetings to narrow suspects. A player review notes the town's read is genuinely hard right now because the notebook-passing animation is identical to pocketing it - a fifty-fifty tell at best. That makes the task route proportionally more valuable in the current version: it does not require anyone to be right about anyone.
What we have not checked
The number of tasks per player, whether tasks differ by role or map area, and whether killers can fake tasks. That last one matters most - it is on the open questions list.

Frequently asked
Do finished tasks win the round in BloxNote?
One player's recording says completing the task bar wins the round automatically for Investigators and L, with a hedged 'I'm pretty sure'. The developer's description says completing all tasks is how Investigators win, which backs the mechanism even if the exact trigger is single-source.
What tasks are in BloxNote?
We do not have the full task list. Footage shows station-style interactables, but nobody we have read enumerates them. Our open questions list carries this gap on purpose.
Can Investigators win without finishing tasks?
Yes - by voting out both killers. The description gives the town two routes: complete all tasks, or find Kira. The task route is the one that does not require being right about anyone.
