How to Win in BloxNote as Every Role
All four roles' win conditions from the developer's description, plus the two town routes and the killers' written-in target.
The town's two routes
Route one is mechanical: Investigators complete all tasks. No social reading required, and a player's recording suggests the round can end the moment the bar fills. Route two is social: find Kira. L exists to power route two - the description says L assists the Investigators in uncovering Kira before the killers can delete everyone.
The two routes feed each other. Tasks force the killers to move and take risks around the map; meetings convert what people saw into votes. A recorded round on 6 September 2026 shows the cost of splitting the town's attention: players followed each other around, the task bar stalled, and a killer wrote names in the open.
The killers' route
Kira and Kira Follower win by deleting all players, and the description adds 'specifically DELETE L to win' - the detective is not just another body, the killers' condition is written around removing them. The notebook is the weapon, and the recorded kill takes about a second.
The honest caveat from our review of current footage: a 30-hour player argues Kira is underpowered in v0.1 because command cards barely exist and IDs are hard to get. A different player calls Kira overpowered. Win rates by role do not exist publicly that we have found - anyone quoting one is guessing.
What the original game does differently
The 30-hour player's review is at its most useful when comparing BloxNote to Death Note: Killer Within, the Bandai Namco game two independent sources say it is based on. In that original, the review says, Kira could kill NPC characters at a capped rate after their names were publicly broadcast, and both sides carried command cards that shaped rounds. In BloxNote as of 11 September 2026 the command cards are nearly absent and the NPC rules we could not fully read in the available footage, so we cite the comparison without importing the original's numbers.
What clearly has not carried over is any pay-to-win layer: the review scores the shop's spins as purely cosmetic, and the game-passes list reads the same way. Winning is decided by tasks, votes and the notebook - not by Robux.
What ties it all together: the vote
Recorded rounds show a discussion phase where players compare notes and can skip. The skip option matters: voting on no information hands the killers a free deletion, and the footage shows players choosing to skip and listen rather than guess. Winning as the town is usually about surviving bad meetings, not winning every one.
What we have not checked
Tie votes, timers, and whether killing L shortens the killers' task in any mechanical way. None of it is written in sources we can cite; all of it is in the open questions guide.

Frequently asked
How many ways are there to win a round of BloxNote?
Three, per the developer's description: Investigators finish all tasks; the town identifies and deletes Kira; or Kira and Kira Follower delete everyone - with deleting L written in as part of the killers' goal.
Do Kira and Kira Follower win separately?
No source we have read suggests separate win conditions. The description treats them as one side: 'work together to DELETE all players'.
What happens if L dies?
The description names deleting L as part of the killers' win. Whether an L death alone ends the round or only completes their condition alongside other deletions is not spelled out - it is on our open questions list.
