Is BloxNote Pay to Win? Every Pass and What It Costs
Short answer: nothing we can find on sale touches gameplay. The long answer, pass by pass, with the evidence and the caveat a nine-day-old game deserves.
The short answer
As of 14 September 2026: no purchase in BloxNote touches who wins a round. The game sells six passes, and every one of them is cosmetic, identity or convenience. The evidence is the pass list itself read against what we know the systems do - and it is worth reading carefully, because this is the kind of claim that goes stale in a game that updates daily.
The pass list, judged one by one
Skip Spins (99 Robux) - convenience for the cosmetic lottery. The 30-hour player's review is explicit that spins yield cosmetics only, so skipping them accelerates looking different, not winning.
Extra Emote Page (129 Robux) and Extra Emote Slot (129 Robux) - more emote storage. Communication breadth, maybe, but both sides emote equally.
Custom ID Name (99 Robux) - identity. The settings menu's Male ID Name toggle shows the system exists; nothing suggests IDs carry gameplay information that money reveals.
Custom Shinigami (199 Robux) - unknown in effect, but named for a visual layer, not a mechanic. This is the one pass we would flag for re-review: a 'shinigami' anything could grow gameplay meaning in a later patch, and nobody we have read describes what it currently does.
V.I.P (399 Robux) - unknown perks. Priced like a bundle. If any pass eventually breaks the cosmetic-only pattern, the odds are on this one, which is exactly why we say so instead of assuring you it cannot.
Why the honest answer has a date on it
Two things make this question worth re-asking monthly. The game is nine days old as of this writing and has shipped updates nearly every day since 9 September. And the killers' side is currently underpowered - a 30-hour player argues Kira lacks command cards and ID access - which is precisely the vacuum that monetized advantages eventually fill in this genre. If a pass ever sells ID reveals, task shortcuts or kill cooldowns, that is pay-to-win by any reasonable definition, and our updates page and this one will carry the change with its date.
What we have not checked
V.I.P's actual perks, what Custom Shinigami shows in-game, and whether anything in the shop we have not catalogued alters mechanics. The pass list is a snapshot from Roblox's API on 13 September 2026; the game may sell something else by the time you read this.

Frequently asked
Is BloxNote pay to win?
Not that we can find, as of 14 September 2026. All six passes on the game's Roblox page are cosmetic or convenience items - emotes, an ID name, a shinigami visual, VIP, and skipping the cosmetic spins. Nothing we have read or seen on screen lets money change a match's outcome.
What does the V.I.P pass do in BloxNote?
We do not know beyond its name and price (399 Robux on 13 September 2026). No source we have read describes its perks, so we will not guess. It is the most expensive pass, which is usually a sign of a bundle rather than a single item.
Do codes give gameplay advantages?
No. The only reward codes have been shown to pay is Apples - the cosmetic currency - with the game's own toast as proof. If a future code ever granted a gameplay edge, this page would say so with the date.
